I'll Try Anything, by the magnificent Dusty Springfield. Rest in peace dear heart[|)] The Pet Shop Boys did a magnificent tribute to her during their Nightlive tour.

The Flaming Lips' One More Robot/Sympathy 3000-21 album is on here. I gotta tell ya, this is sublime. Any F-Lips fans out here? I never really gave them much attention but my sis-in-law just gave me this album recently. It's really awesome. I feel myself getting excited almost like I did when I first got into New Wave. Anybody wanna recommend other Lips albums to me?

marvymarv--I'd recommend "The Soft Bulletin." Came out right before "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots." I prefer Yoshimi, but SB is still nice album. Thievery Corporation also has the Flaming Lips guesting on their latest album. You can download on iTunes (or probably any other download service).

I'm listening to random stuff I've downloaded from iTunes over the weekend:

David J, "I'll Be Your Chauffeur"
Pure Orange "Save a Prayer" (remix)
Altered Images "I Could Be Happy"
Japan "European Son"
Duran Duran "Winter Marches On" & "Antarctica"
The Ocean Blue "Waterworks" EP
Space "Diary of a Wimp"
Soft Cell "Say Hello, Wave Goodbye"
AFOS "Space Age Love Song"
Kraftwerk "The Model"
Lords of Acid "I Sit On Acid"
The Mission "Wasteland"
Kon Kan "I Beg Your Pardon" (I forgot how cheesy some parts of this song are)
S'Express "Theme From S'Express"

Thanks for the Flaming Lips tip VCO. That's a nice playlist you got off of iTunes, BTW. And yeah, Kon-Kan in general is a little cheesy but hey, it's cool man!

Icehouse - We Can Get Together
One of my favorite songs of all time since I saw the video on Mtv back in 1981 (I think) -- wish I had that on dvd along with a bunch of other videos from 'back in the day.'
