The bands were The Producers, A Flock of Seaguls, Duran Duran, Jack Mac.
I have a ton of vintage MTV to offer in trade including the
New Years Eve Ball 81, 83,84,85.

I have a DVD rip of the Duran set. Its pretty good quality.

I have this on VHS somewhere. I'm sure it is in one of my many boxes of tapes from back in the day. If I find it, I'll let you know.
