vide codecs

downloaded some videos from the hub, but i can't play some of them. what's the codec that i need to download?

Get the VLC Media Player from http://videolan.org/vlc/ - it will play just about anything.

they're *.mpg files but my media player can't play them

Huh? That's strange. Most players should load that by default. Try installing Quicktime (for either Mac or Windoze) from the Apple site. If you're on Windoze and want to keep all your RealPlayer or WMP preferences, make sure NOT to choose the Quicktime player as your default player.
