Hello,

I hope that I am inserting this message/request in the appropriate category, as I wish to be respectful to this fantastic sight. My favorite album from the 80's (really stands out as missing from 80's playlists I am trying to put together) is SPK's "Machine Age Voodoo". I see that the sounds of more obscure SPK albums like Byzantine Flowers (Great stuff) have found their way to CD, but their most accessible and 80's New Wave album "MACHINE AGE VOODOO" has never made it out on CD??? Does anyone out there have any info on plans for future release of this on CD (AND/OR) where I can most effictively submitt my vote to have this released on CD?

Sincere Thanks!!!

I would also love to see have it on CD including versions of my favorite song "Metal Dance".

There is this company called Vinyl Revolution which remasters vinyl to CD. They have a catalog of remastered CD's and "Machine Age VooDoo" is among the reissues. The only thing (legally that is) is that you have to either own a copy of the vinyl already, or you must purchase the vinyl from them in order to purchase the disc. I've ordered from them already and the discs are nicely remastered. Still, I would love an "official" release of this LP on CD. "Metal Dance" was a fantastic piece of music, and the 12-inch was awesome. Is it true that SPK stands for: Surgical Penis Klinik? Pretty wild!!!

Anyway, good luck with www.vinylrevolution.com

Sincerely,

Jeffrey
