Believe it or not, these guys have a MySpace website now. 4 songs (though not downloadable). They were brilliant in their day. Impossible to find on CD. Anybody have Mp3's?

Speaking of Polyrock, anyone have the debut or "Above the Fruited Plane" forsale. Gemm and Musicstak are rediculously expensive...hell, last time I looked "Sleep Convention" was going for around 80 bucks.

Thanks much. I have "Changing Hearts" (bought it when it came out...didn't care much for it then but in the past year I have come to appreciate it).

Their two RCA albums are wretched. However, I liked "Working on My Love" from the indie EP. Been looking for that EP, too. Only thing I have of theirs is a scratched-as-shit promo sampler. I think it has "Romantic Me" and something else on it.
They got a little bit of MTV play back in the dark ages.

IMO, some of ther best material is on those RCA releases. I have all their LP's/EP stuff, pristine, and find everything by them to be well worth having. Just my opinion.

Max, I've got a couple of extra copies of Above the Fruited Plain available, if you want one, drop me a line. No charge.

Just found it - it's "Romantic Me" backed with "No Love Lost" and "Your Dragging Feet." Apparently other people got an original jacket, but mine's in a generic black sleeve. I guess I'm not telling anybody here anything they don't already know.
The interesting thing about Polyrock is that they actually got more commercial after they got dropped from the majors. Even the "Working on My Love" video was light years better than the awful promo clips they did while on RCA ("Romantic Me," "Bucket Rider," etc.)
