So pleased this track is included shame it wasnt the 12 inch version. Yes I think this is the first time on cd I managed to track an old compilation cd with see that glow on . Nice to see win on there . Still cant understand why cherry red released freaky trigger and not the first album with all the more popular tracks on

Is General Public's Tenderness (Special Dance Mix) making its cd debut ?

This is a solid tracklisting, but I think Gary Crowley surely knows his Lost 80s stuff and can do much better than this.

For example, the first thing that struck me is – 2 Nick Heyward tracks. As much as I love his 1983/1984 period, I wonder why? Both of these are on the deluxe edition of North Of A Miracle easily available. Totally unnecessary and a waste of space.

Also redundant on a compilation like this are specific tracks from these artists:

The Style Council, Madness, FYC on disc 1, Heaven 17, Stephen Tin Tin Duffy, The Kane Gang, The Untouchables on disc 2, The B52s and Sade on disc 3. Could have also added Forbidden Fruit, but I have a soft spot for that Dr. Robert track.

All easily available elsewhere.

Tracie also has a couple of singles from 1985/1986 that are still only available on vinyl and were omitted from her 2 CD releases……although I Love You When You Sleep is a great choice.

Anyway, I hope this is only the start of series that will go a long way……
Since there are sooo many lost 80s tracks out there that will probably never see the light of day on CD,
this could easily be a 10CD set on every new installment.
