B-Movie "Platinum Collection"

A couple of websites (such as Amazon UK and sirendisc.com) are listing a new release for 12/5 in the UK called "The Platinum Collection" by B-Movie. I can't find a track list anywhere, but it is being released by WEA, so I imagine it will include material from "Forever Running."

If anyone finds a track listing, please post it! I'm dying to know what's on it...

Some fantastic breaking news is that the 1985 B-Movie album Forever Running is to be released on cd for the very first time on 05th December 2005 via Warner Platinum.

It'll include bonus tracks and will retail at a budget price of around $10 - so go order it now!

The full track listing is:

2. FOREVER RUNNING
3. HEART OF GOLD
4. MY SHIP OF DREAMS
5. JUST AN ECHO
6. REMEMBRANCE DAY
7. SWITCH ON - SWITCH OFF
8. BLIND ALLEGIANCE
9. ARCTIC SUMMER
10. NOWHERE GIRL

Excellent news!

It would have been nice to have had the 7" mix of "Switch On-Switch Off" as well. But, I'm still excited that this album is FINALLY comimg out on CD!!!

Wonder what this version of Polar Opposites will sound like. I've always liked this song ever since I heard it on the BBC Sessions. Very catchy song indeed. The extended remixes are cool as well. I hope they'll use the masters for this cd.

I've had an email from play.com in the uk to say they've posted it, sadly as my mum is giving it to me as a pressie, it won't hit the cd player until xmas day, so it's a boo/hoorah situation.
(p.s. as it's a budget title i hope it still sounds good)

Got my copy today! Sounds good!

One thing though: the "A Letter From Afar" 12" Long Version is about :40 shorter than the Big Mix available on Retro:Active 4. The only 12" I was ever aware of was the "Big Mix," so I don't know if there was an official 12" "Long Version" that was different or if this is merely a slight edit (which is what it sounds like).

Also, the Dub version from "A Letter..." is listed as the "7" Dub" but it's really the 12" Dub, same length as the "12" Long Version."

Great to finally have the Forever Running album on CD!

Pre-ordered it from Amazon UK. They always seem to ship pretty quickly.
