Just found my second copy of the first LP by The Pop. Had to let my other copy go a few years back when funds were low. Glad to find another copy got $4.75.

Nice one Ollie - - I remember finding that myself, it was the first one I listed when this thread got started! Kinda interesting cover with the mannequins on that one... I have the Pop's 'Go!' as well.

Found a copy of the Random Hold LP over the weekend. Kinda like a lighter Ultravox or something.

Me too with finally some finds..

Belfegore - a german release on "Pure Fruede" records. No release date; I'm guessing prior to the american lp we all know. All info in german. I've never come across this before. Simply called "Belfegore". Not the same songs as the US lp; 1st song is "Mensch oder Gott". Dead dog by the ocean on cover.

Belfegore - "All that I wanted" 12" extended club mix (some Belfegore fan must have been hard up for cash).

A Drop in the Gray - Certain Sculptures.

the Cure - Pornography

the Elvis Brothers - Adventure Time (I already owned and enjoy 'Movin up')

Game Theory - the Big Shot Chronicles

John Hiatt - Slug Line (kind of a new-wavish/Costelloish release from him)

Nothing on this list over $5...

Little known fact, but The Arrows were teh band that originally did "I Love Rock and ROll" that Joan Jett made famous.

Yes,this is true Ollie. But the first ever original song was written as''the boogiest band in town'',from the 70s duo Martin -Coulter,for the teen pop band of Slik.As for Arrows check out their album''First hit''in RAK records or one of the cd collections out in the market.Very nice glam pop outfit with s strong Stones influence in their very last singles.

Just picked up vinyl copies of Psychedelic Furs 1st Album, Altered Images "Pinky Blue", Trio ("Contains the Hit Da Da Da" is apparently the name of this one, though I bought it for the great "Broken Hearts for You and Me") and another old favorite: "Stateless" by Lene Lovich.

I came across an interesting lp yesterday, "Rikki and the last days of earth" from 1978. I'd never seen or heard of it before, but it looks interesting. Anyone out there familiar with this one - - is it worth picking up?

OK,bpdp3,this must be a good lp.Haven't listened to it,but from reviews it's kind of Roxy Music meets Gary Numan, with a punk edge.I know it also as Rikki Sylvan and the Last Days of Earth.
