Does anyone know anything more about the other band that was also named RED BOX back in 1984. They released one 12 inch single on the Polo Records label out of London and then vanished. The song title was "Never Trust Your Soul" - the 12 inch had 3 versions of the same song. This was not the same band that featured Simon Toulson Clarke and Julian Close. The sound is similar to many other synth - wave bands from the time - a nice addition for collectors of 80's obscurities. The release info was (POLO RECORDS POLO 1230 in 1984). All I have been able to find out is that this band did not realize the RED BOX name was already taken until after the release of this single and then were never heard from again. Anyone know what these guys went on to do next? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

at this point since you have the record label info, i'd try contacting the bbc or some sort of british organization that would have info on record labels and owners and how to contact them or try getting in conmtact with some of the british wave bands lik
