Hello. My name is Michael Sutton, and some of you might be familiar with my work on the All-Music Guide as I have written countless New Wave bios and reviews on there. In any case, I work for an independent label called Know-It-All Records, and there are two artists that I signed which may or may not be of interest to you.
One of them is a New Wave group from the Philippines called the Pin-Up Girls. The Pin-Up Girls were heavily influenced by Echo & the Bunnymen, the Railway Children, the Cure, the Darling Buds, the Primitives, and the Housemartins. Here are some audio samples:

The other is Peter Coyle, the vocalist of Liverpool's the Lotus Eaters. I'm sure there are folks here who remember the Lotus Eaters' early '80s singles like "The First Picture of You" and "German Girl."

Thank you for your time. I'm a lifelong New Wave fan, dedicated on keeping the spirit of the music alive.

Retroman, thank you for your e-mail. Does your show simulcast online? I'd love to hear it. Also, do you play new material from New Wave artists? The genre is certainly alive and well albeit underground but that won't last long. Please e-mail me at knowita
