I'm really looking forward to downloading Controlled Bleeding - Bladder Bags. Next time my neighbor cranks Styx, or "Can't Help Falling in Love" from Elvis, (Which they do often) I will introduce them to "Experiements in Fuck".

And all this time I thought Tales of Taboo was pushing the limit.

Oh, on topic, I've been listening to my dog obsessively chewing on his foot for the past hour. It's a lovely sound.

No, but I could upload it easily enough. It is EXTREMELY harsh noise like only Controlled Bleeding can do it. Not for the faint-hearted. Let me know if you want to check it out and I'll rip it.

I can't say that I'm a big fan of noise. So, would they sound like... the Swans?
Don't rip it just for me, but if you do, I'll begrudgingly check it out.

If you like noise, you should check out La Muerte's cover of "Wild Thing". I think it's the worst version ever. FYI, anything I recommend is usually in my share.

I'll put it up there just in case someone wants to check it out.
Wolverine, it would be an amazing tool to get back at the neighbors.
It is brutal. Much moreso than than Swans. I'd say less than 1% of people could make it through the first 5 minutes, much less listen to the whole thing. Controlled Bleeding have done harsh noise, industrial, ambient, neo-classical, dub, almost everything. They have even appeared on Brian Eno, Genesis and King Crimson tribute cd's. Their cover of Crimson's The Talking Drum has to be heard to be believed. Anyway, I'll have it up in about 15 minutes.

Listening to the Devils right now, which was a recent project with Duran's Nick Rhodes and Stephen Duffy. Very electro, very weird, very COOL.

I can't seem to tell the difference between Session 1 and 2 (don't tell me I'll have to listen to it again). Strange cause listening to some of their covers, didn't prepare me for this. I would recommend that CD to anyone that currently doesn't have a headache, but would really like one.

Currently listening to The Raveonettes - Pretty In Black, I had to clear my palette.

The differences are there, deep within the eye of the storm. But I get where you're coming from. It's cool that you at least gave it a chance! Even Paul Lemos, the leader of CB, told me he can't listen to this stuff more than 10 minutes at a time. Guess I'm really messed up, because I listen to full noise cds regularly. Then again, I like just about everything except country. Toby Keith could give me a headache a hell of a lot quicker than CB ever could [:D].

And Raveonettes rock. I'm liking the new cd a lot.

oh.my.god. I absolutely agree - it's like a surgical saw through the brain. I held out for the whole "Experiments in Fuck" but that's all I can possibly take.

I think it's very cool that people listen to this though. I'm just curious, what does it do for you? I'm not being sarcastic, I really am intrigued.

I'm going to have to find another song to annoy my neighbors.

Listening to "Perfect Kiss" remix, New Order - we're in the frog croaking section of the song, my favorite part.
