Thankfully Ze re-released the Cristina albums. I was able to find the vinyl of Sleep It Off because someone replaced it with the cd.

hi kids i'm searchin actually and actively old 77 83 italian Punk and new wawe records

i know italia is better know for this hard core scene of the mid 80's whith bands like negazione , indigesti , raw power , ccm , reazione but the italian 77 83 period is rich in many great bands to rediscovering i have a great italian killed by death boot named " live at la scala " who covered this italian Punk and new wawe pioneers that's of course i recommand to any new wawe outpost activists

one of italian records that's im really proud to find is a 45 single of Amanda lear yeah the italo french disco diva with Cccp the italian philo - communist Punk group are backing band

for a story Cccp is a strange théatratical Punk new wawe italian band from the 77 80's era with ultra left wings lyrics and political radicals isues and visions , very minimalist dark sound and who have realeased many self produced records on their own records label before they signed to virgin italia in the mids 80's and becoming more dance new wawe sounding band

of course many italians purists fans of the band dont like the virgin records périod somes early fans said the band are become sell out's because they signed on virgin not me because i have some records by this band from this two periods and i'm a really fan of the band

if you have any informations and web site adress about Cccp and on italian 77 83 Punk and italian new wawe era many thanks for advance to you

bye

For the princly sum of $5.30 each I just found really nice copies of Skinny Puppy's "Bites" and "Back & Forth" (I think that's the title, its got Smothered Hope, and Brap on it).

Found a copy of "Are You receiving Me" by a band called Self-Defence. It's weird, not one song sounds the same as the next. There's some cool synth stuff, and some weird classic rock-esque violin piece.

I'm curious; is it a cover of the XTC song or an original work? [8)]

I found some amazing stuff today, all very cheap!

Pezband - Laughing In The Dark
Roderick Falconer - Victory In Rock City (prog)
Ananta - Wheels of Time (prog)
The Korgis - Dumb Waiters
Quicksilver Messenger Service - s/t (psych)
Jethro Tull - Stormwatch (prog)
The Innocents - s/t (yes, the same band featured in the song of the week right now, what a coincidence!)

Pezband...I haven't heard them in a while, I've got their debut. A group who should've gotten in with the 80's power-pop scene but never really got the connection.

Man, I haven't been in a record store in a while but finally got out this past weekend and grabbed:

Hambi and the Dance - Heartache lp
Pressure - You talk we talk twelve inch
The Twins - Face to face Heart to heart twelve inch
All About Eve debut
Techno Twins - Technostalgia lp
The Orchids - the Kim Fowley produced debut
Oh OK - Furthermore What ep (Mitch Easter produces)

...and I finally found a reasonable non-reissue copy of the Saints' I'm Stranded lp on Sire that I've been after since foolishly loaning it out in high-school!!
