I found a picture sleeve 45 ep of Nick Lowe and Dave Edmunds doing Everly Brothers tunes yesterday. I think that it may have originally been included in copies of Rockpile's "Seconds of Pleasure" lp, but mine never had it (and I bought it new when it came out).

These tracks are included on the remastered reissue of Seconds of Pleasure. Plus 3 more live tracks.

I picked up the Delta 6 EP "6-Sei" for some spare change. It's the original Rough Trade label release. Real good condition.

Includes their hits: "Mind Your Own Business," "Anticipation," & "Try."

It's been dry. Firefall - is your record by the Secret by the same group who had a track on the US 'K-Tel' style comp called 'No Wave'?

Iggy Pop - Blah Blah Blah (it was $1, I couldn't resist)
Novo Combo - Animation Generation (their 2nd lp I believe)
David Van Tieghem - These things Happen (very electronic, instrumental)
The Wild Seeds - Life is Grand ep
2 Secession 12" singles - 'Touch' and 'Fire Island'

If you mean the compilation of A and M ,having also Police,Joe Jackson etc, there is a Secret's song called''Weather station''.Anyway, its a great smart avant pop band similar to Sparks and Adam and the Ants.

For Today
Richard Strange-Phenomenal Rise of Richard Strange
Brian Briggs-his first lp in Bearsville

<br>Me too with finally some finds..

Belfegore - a german release on "Pure Fruede" records. No release date; I'm guessing prior to the american lp we all know. All info in german. I've never come across this before. Simply called "Belfegore". Not the same songs as the US lp; 1st song is "Mensch oder Gott". Dead dog by the ocean on cover.

Is this the one with the instrumental song called "Belfegore"? It there any chance you could rip any of these songs?

I bought my first vinyl record this week: Joy Division's Substance, which is very difficult to find in Argentina in CD and more difficut even to have it in vinyl!!! Maybe in Europe and in USA JD stuff is easy to get, but here in Argentina to get JD albums and collectibles is really hard!!!

Lots of things the last days.It must be the luckiest Christmas days, but only for vinyl discoveries. Many stores, here in Athens, plenty of lps offers and here we go-

Dalek I-Compass Kumpas(first album from Liverpool early art/synth pop duo.Experiments, minimal keyboards, loops, some guitars and a sound near to a futuristic journey inside the Time)

Elevators-Frontline(my second copy)

Expressos-Tango Mono/Thumps on the ground,45(wonderful punky pop/rock with female vocals, near to Photos and Pretenders)

The Pop-Down on the Boulevard 45 single(great song!!!)

Dead Milkmen-Eat your Paisley!

Hello People-Have you seen the Light?(early 70s cabaret psychedelic pop)

Los Illegals-same(Latino-punk from LA, similar to Plugz but with more keyboards and experimental mood)

And some cds
American Gypsy-same(obscure 70 glam soul-funk)
V Majestic-same(late 90s experimental psychedelic punk album similar to They Might be Giants and Captain Beefheart)
Buzzcocks-Another music in a different kitchen).

Altered Images - 4 track 7", plus 2 other 7"
Jah-Malla - Alive And Well
Wall Of Voodoo - Call of the West (replaces a long-ago damaged copy)
Suicide Commandos - Make A Record

I got three Irish new wave vinyls recently. Minor Detail, Aslan, and Boomtown Rats - Fine Art Of Surfacing. Too bad Minor Detail didn't put out another LP, great band. [:(]
