3) If it was so popular and such a great cd and had such an impact on the countless dozens of huge filipino new wave fans, how come nobody seems to already own it? [:D]

The great majority of fans managed to get a copy of this album by hook or by crook. I've even posted a very partial list of fans with the Colourfield's albums that they have already collected. However, since many of them have only a used CD, they would be very happy to upgrade their copy, in case the album is reissued!

I guess it would be very nice if people talk about things that they know very well but well as an educator, I practice patience and tolerance! [:D][:D]

Motors, you are the limit!![:D][:D]

For me, The Colourfield produced a couple of passable songs; those being Pushin' up the Daisies and She. I've listened to more, but nothing else turns my crank.

So I would surmise that the real reason for The Colourfield's existence was so this thread would have a topic. BTW, I can't believe that nobody in the Philippines has bootlegged this CD, seeing it is so popular.

The Colourfield and Virgins and Philistines (and Deception) are very popular with REAL New Wave fanatics. Those who have the original are very proud and those who don't have long to grab a copy.

Thinking Of You is likely their most popular song is included in new wave compilations.

This topic is almost 3 weeks old. Why wait for someone to drop a bomb so that you can drop yours?

They are new wave alright.

And last. The CD is worth paying for!!!

1) Because I felt like it and that's reason enough.
2) That list means nothing. Read the top of the page - "The Songs List serves as an informative repository of songs from the new wave era (predominantly 1978-1988)." From the era? Yes. New Wave? No way. There are a lot of songs on there that aren't new wave.
3) If it was so popular and such a great cd and had such an impact on the countless dozens of huge filipino new wave fans, how come nobody seems to already own it? [:D]
4) Quoting Casey Kasem is hilarious on many levels.[:D][:D][:D]

1> It's new wave alright.
2> I don't care if you comment on me using Casey Kasem's quote.

This topic still going???

I posted this in another thread and I'll post it here. Anyone got ~$20k lying around YOU can have the US rights (5,000 copies exclusively yours for 3 years) to this album - already remastered with a delicious selection of bonus tracks.

Now then - who's THAT big a fan of this album?

Jason,

So why does Amazon have it listed, is that to see how many you may get preorders for?
