NO! my point is that it won't sell nearly as well as this thread might lead you to believe. When we first posted our release calendar to our distributor a year ago the V&P CD was on there and we removed it a long time ago but Amazon must've gotten a hold of it and posted it. THat's what they do when a title is on a schedule but doesn't have a date attached to it. Sorry.

Actually, this thread has led me to believe that it would sell about 10 copies. I like Terry Hall but his oeuvre is very repetitive and he is best in small doses. I can wait until 2011, thank you.

Some dudes
Use the Buzzcocks as wake up call
Have Jam for breakfast
Order the Specials for lunch
Blast the Sex Pistols while cruising along the strip and
Listen to the Clash upon stepping home [:D][:D]

It is no wonder therefore that they have no inclination for melody, harmony and gentleness. In my personal case, I can shift easily from X'Mal Deutschland to The Colourfield, depending on my mood, because I can see that they express the same commitment to music although in a different style and I appreciate them both.

This is The Colourfield!

Out of print until 2011![:D]

My feelings exactly. Esp. if the dose is 5 minutes or less.

Truth. When Smashmouth can do a better version of a song (Can't get enough of you baby) than you can, it's generally a pretty good indicator that you suck.

Don't get too excited about this. Amazon usually creates a default release date way into the future when a planned reissue is continually postponed. Besides, the last time I looked, this CD was set to be a Superfecta reissue, so the eventual release probably won't catch many people here by surprise.

<br>This topic still going???

I posted this in another thread and I'll post it here. Anyone got ~$20k lying around YOU can have the US rights (5,000 copies exclusively yours for 3 years) to this album - already remastered with a delicious selection of bonus tracks.

Now then - who's THAT big a fan of this album?
[/quote]

I'm only willing to spend $20 for this CD, so I guess I'm 1/1000 of the fan that I thought I was. [:D]

Nice to see that some dudes have taste eheheh
But the funny thing is that WLIR used to play The Colourfield! Their Playlist included the following tracks:
Badlands
Can't Get Enough Of You Baby
Pushing Up Daisies
Running Away
She
Thinking Of You

So I assume that they didn't have Virgins and Philistines but only a couple of Singles.

I can't believe I actually read through this entire thread. It was more boring than most of Th' Cullah Feeled's songs.
