I'm almost two weeks late reporting this, but the Salt Lake show was terrific.
The three bands sounded great and it was fun to hear them live. I love ABC and really enjoy Martin's stage presence. His band seemed so young - a friend and I joked about them being the kids of the original members.
Cutting Crew was great fun and IMO, the opening guitar riff of "Died In Your Arms" was the highlight of the night. Fantastic intro.
I believe Wang Chung was the best set - lots of energy and the band was tight as could be. The hit everything chord of every song as if it was the result of hours in a studio. And yes, they played Live and Die in LA.
The funniest part of the show in SLC was how many people left the club and got into minivans to drive home.
Tbone and drsevrin - we may have bumped into each other and not even known it. Bummer that we couldn't have arranged a meeting.
