Well, if I can't post this here, where can I, huh?
Great concert. JJ sounded great. Original band. He moved around a bit mroe than when I saw him in 2003 at the SF Fillmore Auditorium. Of course, the audience had (ahem) aged too!
All the good stuff from the first two albums were played...
Loved the part, especially, when he pulled out a newspaper, dissed it and launched into "Sunday Papers," which to me is the best rock song about journalism ever done. JJ looked positively horrified as he flipped through the paper on stage. Great theater!
Anyone else remember the first foolish JJ tours?

I didn't catch JJ live until the original band reunited for a tour ('03?). I've gotta say, even then it was a fantastic show! Tons of energy, and a bunch of the early tunes mixed with some cool stuff of later albums such as Steppin' Out. I felt very fortunate to catch the entire original band, even if it was a few years late!
I also got to see the last Elvis Costello tour with the original Attractions in '94...another amazing show.
