I saw Pete twice on the Deep tour, and thought he was terrific (loved the set lists, too). I was less impressed on the following tour in '92, but then I wasn't a big fan of Holy Smoke at the time (still a very inconsistent album with a couple of great songs). I remember being bored at one point..I think it was his 10-minute version of Socrates The Python that just about put the crowd to sleep! The Cascade show was a marked improvement (and a better album).
