I just came as close as I will be to seeing the Talking Heads live- this is Talking Head and band and dancers.
Great show, in a great venue (Louisville Palace).
All the performerswere dressed in white (?reflecting DB's hair?)

Since DB stated that (most of) the songs were by him and Brian Eno, the new album, Everything that Happens Will Happen Today, was well represented, as well as a pack of classic TH tunes.

Very enthusiastic audience for an almost 2 hour show-

Obscure stuff has "Sessions at West 54th" that I upped last night. Pretty good sounding too.

IIRC, Sessions at W 54th took place at some point around the release of Rei Mondo (or whatever the album was called). Probably it concentrated on songs from that (or whichever) album, right?

What was great about the current show is that more than 50% of the setlist was classic TH material.

You're in for a real treat.

Ha! This was originally billed as all Byrne/Eno collaboration stuff. He musta gotten too much flak for not playing this tune earlier in the tour.

Same set list. REALLY LOUD! I didn't mind the dancers either (and some of you know how much I hate dancers). Great show.
