It has always amazed me how many unabashed, rabid Styx fans there seem to be. With the exception of a couple of their songs, I find them grandiosely and gratingly over the top, pretentious bombast.

Where Queen was able to temper their operatic flair with more subtlety, Styx took the "more is better" approach and turned it "up to eleven"! Yet, like cockroaches, their fans seem to multiply in ever increasing numbers.

After "Mr. Roboto", Styx should have had their license to make music permanently revoked.
