Jeez, aside from multiple Lost Patrol shows, the Boxer Rebellion, and 2 Mark Burgess (The Chameleons) gigs, I can't remember what I saw this year! I seem to be blurring 2009 and 2008 together. But clearly, I have not been to enough shows.

Even though I had to sell my 3rd row U2 tix for Vancouver (pet emergency), I saw a bunch of really good gigs in 2009. All Seattle venues:
David Byrne - Paramount Theater
B-52's - Woodland Park Zoo Tunes
Marshall Crenshaw - Triple Door
Morrissey - Paramount Theater
Depeche Mode - Key Arena
Given that I saw Squeeze and English Beat in 2008, I feel very fortunate to have caught a bunch of my favorite acts while they're still touring. And props to Depeche Mode...they still put on a fantastic show and can rival any arena-size act on the road today.
