I'd like to see that show. I've been a fan of theirs since the early 90's.

Never saw the Weddos live, but I did see Cinerama a while back with Mark Burgess supporting. They did a few from this album. Good stuff. 'Kennedy' is a classic!

As I recall, Cinerama played for a really long time. Imagine what they could do as Wedding Present

I saw them a couple of times, most notably on their Seamonsters tour in the early 90's. I remember that this show was great, but that Gedge seemed like he was in a piss of a mood. Although they sounded great, the band was detached as well. Before the last song of the set, Gedge scowled,"I remind you that we do not do encores."

Gedge seems like an odd one, but a good guy. One of
my best friends always travels to see them, and he gets
on the guest list all the time. Still, how many musicians
walk through the club before a gig eating a sandwich and
drinking milk?? Reminds me of a indie Morissey.

I'll have to go to this, I saw the Wedding Present at the old Living Room in Providence on the Bizarro tour in the summer of 1990. With the Volcano Suns opening, it remains the loudest show I've ever been to and the show that convinced me to start wearing earplugs.

[/quote]That sounds like a great show. I remember the Living Room, the Rocket, and Lupo's around that time.

I just picked up some tix to see them at Maxwell's in Hoboken in April. Maxwell's holds 250 people, so that should be fun.
