[:D] I was going to say, quit whining, they're playing Reno, until I realized Reno is 7 hours from Vegas. When you're from NJ, everything seems pretty close.

Exactly!! Keep in mind too, many bands dont play Vegas, they skip right over us. For what reason? Im not sure, lack of interest maybe? but, places like HOB, or The Joint could/should take a stab @ these bands immediately, then, if they pass...some of the smaller casino clubs should then step in. I cant see how any of them wouldnt make $$$ from the Echo boys? but thats just me.
I love E&TB, but not enough to drive 7+hrs to Reno, pay a few hundred to stay a night or 2, and drive back.
ALOT of you folks dont realize: Although Vegas is considered "big time" by many people...for alot of bands, it's not. Vegas wants most of the shitty current "whats happening now" bands. Bands like Echo, dont draw big here for some reason.

One might argue that we fully realize it...but you do not.

One might argue that I do...I just want to bitch about it, due to frustration w the lack of good bands coming here?

[/quote]This is excellent news. I'm goin' to Reno; shorter drive for me. And lodging is very affordable. After a couple of hours at the craps table, the evening might just pay for itself. Gonna be a cheap date with wifey nonetheless!
