Saw Graham Parker and the Figgs last night in Teaneck NJ. Very, very good concert. Graham's vocals and playing exceeded my expectations. The Figgs were a nice opening band and solid backing band. Graham entertained the full-capacity crowd with typical British humor and wit. He played a lot from his new album, which is a fine record. Graham also played select favorites from his first two excellent albums, and a selection from across his career.

After the show, Graham and the band signed albums and memorabilia and answered questions after the show. He seemed like a nice guy. I would consider seeing GP again. Check him out if you get the chance.

Also-- I saw one of my favorite bands, The Wedding Present, at Maxwell's last weekend. I'm late in posting a review of that sold-out show.
