Shriekback needs your help to mount a US tour

Postby MikeP » Tue Jan 30, 2018 9:47 am

Barry Andrews and Carl Marsh and an 8-piece band are raising funds to mount a small US tour in June to coincide with a new album, Why Anything, Why This?

I, for one, plan on chipping in at least £50. Definitely one of the bands I always wanted to see live!

This has been live for a week and the first day brought almost $20K as the house concert premiums sold out immediately, Not much growth since then and I''m getting pretty anxious. I can pledge $50 next pay period, but not his one.A nail biter since I have wanted to see them since '82 and will definitely catch the Chicago show.

Well, 61 hours and almost $61,000 to go. Unless they can raise $1,000 per hour, it's not happening. Gutted! Well, I pitched in $50, for what it's worth. It's all I could do.
