We (wife and I) get to Oz every other year to see our son and his family and I've been aware of the Tivoli for a good while but this was my first visit. I'd say it is one of the best venues I've been to. If you get the chance to see someone there I'd grab it. The Pixies are playing a few days after we go home, I'm gutted not to be seeing them there in a 700 capacity, beautiful venue aided by a great bar:-)
Peter Hook is a true professional and runs a tight ship, the standard of there playing was excellent. They opened with a New Order set and then went on to play Unknown Pleasures and Closer albums, followed with by a 4 song encore. Basically a 3 hour set. Basically a brilliant night for a true fan!
