I'm looking for Jula De Palma's Whisky E Dixie. That's the album that features "Amore Baciami." Been looking for that song for years! Does anyone know any retailers that would carry this rare album? Of course, if anyone can find an mp3 of this, it would be awesome (although highly unlikely).
Any help would be much appreciated[:)]

That's going to be one helluva find. How old is the record? I'll bet 40 to 50 years.
She does have a web site though:http://www.juladepalma.com/

Yeah, it's an old record, but there must be some compilation or reprint or even a cassette out there somewhere. If not, just the song would suffice. This is one of those times when downloading would come in handy, but I looked on WinMX, KaZaA, and other file-ripping proggies, and came up empty handed[xx(]

A mystery person sent me an mp3 of the song! Many thanks to whoever you are, mystery person. You've made my day, my night, and most definitely my to-morrow[:)]

Hey XXX:
If you get a chance I'd like to hear the song. No rush, just out of interest.

I woke up to that tune this morning. It has that Lady Sings The Blues feel to it. Mind you, it's not the scratchy LP version featured in Oliver Harrison's short animated project of way back:

But it's gooood. Very romantic. The song has been done by other people, but it's difficult to find those compilations too. Some are ballroom dance instrumental compilations. The cd/album I suspect this song is from is by an Italian artist who did one recently. I'll e-mail to ye soon. I'm not at my place right now, but I'll get right on it when I get back[:)]
