Not Freur, but this sounds like an appropriate song.

<br>If there was a hard fought seven game series and we lost, I'd be devastated but I could accept it. But when your team doesn't even fucking show up for two, yes TWO, games in a row in the fucking Stanley Cup, it is a hard pill to swallow. So now, even if they bounce back and somehow we win, I'll still be totally pissed off that these ass clowns have to make everything about hockey so fucking frustrating and difficult. Even winning the Stanley Cup is going to be soured by two complete no-shows.

Most Canadian kids dream of nothing besides playing the Cup, and the FUCKING CANCUCKS don't even bother to come to the games.

At this rate, I'm going to have to start talking about music or something. Anyone know any good Freur songs?

You might want to watch the next game from Seoul...that way if it goes for a shit, there are plenty of plan "B"s around.

I guess the real Canucks showed up tonight. Whew. That was exhausting. Two shutouts, two blowouts. Weird.

I'm hoping the Canucks win like a lot of people. They'd better score more than a goal a game to do it though. And please, someone tell Henrick he has to put some weight behind his checks. To say he checks like a girl would be insulting that 7 yr old girl. Which one is he? I haven't figured it out yet, Thelma or Louise?

Commentary heard durin the game...."Luongo made three brilliant saves without his stick", answer to said comment here.... "maybe they should take his stick away for the rest of the series."

Yes, I'm predicting a 3-1 loss in Boston and then a 2-1 OT win at home in Game 7. And some dumb fuck at work scheduled a formal dinner the night of Game 7. Fuck me.

I have watched this team game in, game out all season and I am at a loss to explain what is going on in this series. It certainly isn't going to go down in history as a great Cup final. It's ugly and nasty and overridden by bad officiating. I wouldn't be surprised if Schneider gets the start in goal in Boston.

Anyway, the second line was great tonight, and Manny had a great game. It is just so hard to stay excited after the deflation and total metldown in games 3 and 4.

My jersey is really stinking. I hope we win in game 6 so I can wash it.

As in any 7 game series in any sport, there is an ebb and flow. They don't crown a winner by total goals or points or runs but rather games won. Sometimes, a team will wish they had a few of those goals ( or points or runs) left. Sometimes, a 1-0 loss is way more devastating than a blowout. Like I said a month ago, this is in the bag. Kind of like the guarantee that LeBron goes off to win games 6 and 7 and win the MVP.

Going back to the original reason for this thread...winning the Presidents Trophy...the home ice advantage the Canucks have is proving to be critically important!

I hope you're right coop!

Speaking of arrogant fans, the topic on the call-in sports show this morning in Vancouver was who Henrik Sedin will pass the Stanley Cup to first...his brother Daniel or Luongo? Given our stellar 1 goal to 12 at the TD (TD = Toronto Dominion btw) Center, it seems a bit over the top.

I'm expecting a good, if not vicious, hockey game tonight.
