Huh - if anything you'd think his hand strength would have increased recently.

The Spain game was a massive shock and fair play to the Swiss for their richly deserved win. N. Korea did well and got a goal their play earned; no doubt their government will show the first half and the Korean goal to say they beaten Brazil..

Really enjoying the Argentinian game and S.Korea shouldn't be 4-1 behind but the finishing by the Argentines was lethal.

Well it's not "World In Motion", but I'll take anything from the boys in British Sea Power, Brakes, and Modern Ovens...

First Spain now France. It's crazy, I say.

It reminds me of that Simpsons episode from a long time ago when they go to watch the game between the "world powers" of soccer: Mexico and Portugal.

speaking of The Simpsons, I love the World Cup commercial with Homer, "Ronal...Doh!"

I knew it was going to be wide open this year but this is crazy. The U.S. has a must win tomorrow (ok, a tie is still ok, a loss and we're done)can't wait for the game!

Let's be honest, it would be nice if USA would just lose so we could all stop pretending like we give a flying fuck about soccer. There's been some great moments in Major League Baseball this year! And I've seen better acting on FOX!!!

You're just jealous that Canadians are the only brown people that suck at soccer.

That's the problem, we're more taupe...we don't have enough brown to really be good at any sport except ice hockey!

Agreed. France are an aging team with a manager that's loathed in France. The question that Uruguay and Mexico have is do they play for a draw or go for a win to avoid Argentina in the next round? If it's the latter then France has to win by at least three or four goals against South Africa.

Never you mind...within 20 years Toronto alone will be brown enough to kick Brazilian ass. I now see the purpose behind unregulated immigration...world soccer supremacy.

Taupe? Look more towards Surrey, that should brown things up a bit.
