Come on this should be absolutly easy.

School Dances like the Prom(gag)[xx(] vs New Wave Dance Clubs [:)]

School dances like Homecoming or JR or SR prom are a total muffy, jock, and cheerleader thing. How can anyone back in his or her day get geeked up about going to the "Prom" and still maintain their New Wave credibility is incredulous. School dances will throw the new waver a bone here and there with a couple of songs to dance to through out the night from the likes of Duran Duran or the Thomson Twins or a almost new wave tune from Wham or Madonna the rest of the night is just jock or muffy music trash!

New Wave clubs on the other hand is a packed house, a smoky room of about five hundred or so new wavers dancing to the coolest new wave tunes non stop until 4am. Everyone sporting his or her unique new wave style. No one there at the new wave dance club will be sporting their "cool letterman’s jacket" claiming to be the school star "look at me I am the QB star I threw 6 interceptions last night" or what ever. No muffies boasting how they are the head cheerleader and official school whore like they do at the school dances.
