Stereo to start and mono later. Not too interested in the mono stuff. The early recordings are great but I'm a sucker for everything after and including Revolver. I deleted all of my Dr. Ebbetts recordings because the good Dr. himself has praised the new reissues.

On a side note, I just found out that the Hofner bass for Rock Band isn't even available as a stand alone.. Guess I settle with the Duo Jet or Rick.

I'm not buying their cds, but I did buy The Beatles Rock Band for Wii.
We have all been playing all evening. It is pretty fun. [:D]

You do realize that the mono box set is supposed to be limited?

Yes, I am aware of that but I was told that they might already up the amount due to the demand. My son is getting the Mono copies for sure so if I miss out, at least I'll have his to listen too.

Bought the Rick for Rock Band and my house still has people here playing at 7:00am....doesn't anyone sleep anymore?

Has your son received the mono box set yet?
I received my stereo box a few days ago.

I ordered the mono box set from DeepDiscount.com in late August (release date 9/9/09). I haven't received it, so I called dd. They told me it was on backorder. They eventually told me that they would be receiving more stock in early October, but couldm't gurantee that I would receive it. I'm concerned I won't be able to get it.

I traded in a bunch of stuff at Rasputin Music and picked up the Mono box set a few weeks ago. Unbelievably awesome. The sound is great, the mini lp replications, etc are terrific. I have the stereo remasters also, but the mono are superior.
