Barry's bill of health

The results of his annual physical, he is still smoking and he has high cholesterol. As usual Robert Gibbs takes the opportunity to blame someone other than Barry for his failings, the White House pastry chef. Instead of the guy shoving all the wrong food down his throat. I'm very surprised he didn't find a way to blame Bush, they have that routine down pat.

On the other hand, most of us have no grounds to complain: Two-thirds of all americans are statistically [i]obese[/i]. The top three causes of death in the US are all [i]diet-related[/i] (in contrast, homicide is way down at #15 on the list). See: <a href="http://www.ted.com/talks/jamie_oliver.html?awesm=on.ted.com_89kC" target="_new">Jamie Oliver's recent TED speech</a> for eye-opening details.
I thought those of you on the right side of the political spectrum were champions of individual liberty-- has that changed? Should the president (or anyone else) be barred from cigarettes and cheeseburgers? Is this part of a new GOP health care proposal?
So, with all that is going on these days, don't you have anything more substantial to whine about?
