Sometimes local ads can be brilliant. Even though I left the east coast 20+ years ago, whenever I need a taxi in any city, anywhere in the world, the first number I think of is 429-6666.

ive always had a weird interest in what i guess you would call local celeibrity. ive always foud it interesting how in every city all over the country there are people often news anchors or similar things that are household names. but just move 1 or 2 cities over and no one might know who the hell you are talking about.

im not saying its a great add or anything. but i guarente you if you talk to anyone that has lived in oklahoma for a few years they can sing you the entire b.c.clark jingle with ease.
