Certainly not New Wave so I guess I'll stick it here if anyone's interested. Britta Phillips (Luna/Dean and Britta) was on TMRS last Saturday night to talk about her and Dean Wareham's "13 Most Beautiful" project, scoring Andy Warhol's screen tests. We also briefly mentioned her role as the singing voice of Jem and The Holograms (for those of you who weren't watching Thundercats at the time).

Great stuff Ghosty! Funny that I've been thinking about them lately too but more from Dean's Galaxy 500 angle. I was really wishing I had seen them back in the day and wondered if they or just he were still playing...and sure enough yes...

Thanks Blir. Did you ever see the documentary about Luna's farewell tour "Tell Me Do You Miss Me"? Bittersweet stuff.

Haven't. I'd like to find time to look it up though. I can imagine quite a lot of history wrapped 'round the band and its members.
