I'm sorry you're leaving since I really enjoyed participating in your poll questions. And yes, you're right, there are some serious jerks on here. And they're probably way too old to be acting like high schoolers. I wish Mike would wash them all away. Wow, just awful. Is all the hatred on this site really necessary?

Well, I guess it's better to be a jerk than a naive twat who can't see the forest for the trees.

If you were around here on more than the occasional blue moon you would see that I'm more complex than that. Simply throwing out the jerk moniker may just show you to be a bigger one than you claim I am.

If you were around here on more than the occasional blue moon you would know that my words were those included in a now famous departure, and I was indeed paying homage to a post that got good laughs all round by those with a sense of humor.

Well, this is a shock. I know there are many here that are as disappointed as myself. Is there anything we can do to change your mind?

How are we supposed to deal with the impact of this loss? Who will fill the expansive void created by your departure? Have you really thought this through?

It's not really fair for you to suddenly appear, create all those brilliant posts and then, just as quickly, take it all away. I knew it was too good to be true. You were like a shooting star. Bright and shining but all too short lived.

I guess we'll always have our memories of yesterday.

For those of us that choose to carry on I suggest we sooth ourselves by playing the following video as many times as it takes...

If so, then you should know better than to jump to conclusions. You don't get to 6700 posts purely by being a jerk...10 or 20 of those were quality posts in which I actually contributed to the wealth of this place.

OMFG!!! Just received an email from NWK's "dad" berating me for calling his son a troll and using the f-word!!! Hilarious!!! I would copy it in but it has a few too many expletives even for me!!!

Whoever NWK really is, I have to hand it to you, you posted some funny shit. And the email takes the cake! Bravo!

As a major failure as a father, I thought I would send my son, Fortisque J. MacGillicuddy, out into the world of cyberspace in an attempt to help him grow a pair of nads. A message board full of jaded misanthropes seemed the perfect place for this.

Unfortunately, all he received were hateful and vicious retorts from the likes of you. Oh how his soul was tortured when the brilliance of his posts were not recognized as the incredible contributions they truly were.

Now he just sits in his room, staring glassy eyed and knocking his helmeted head against the window in rhythm, while licking the slobber caked glass. I'd let him outside but my own mother didn't allow that until I was well past puberty, 27 years old as I recall.

How dare you refer to my boy as a troll! Sure, he has a slightly misshapen head, giant ears and an 8 year old girl's physique but that's no excuse. If I wasn't afraid of messing up my fingernails I'd come out and give you a good thrashing! When my wife hears about this, he's going to be really mad!
