Corporate Christmas E-cards

It used to be that every year that my business vendors/contacts/advisors would send beautiful Christmas cards, many being specially commissioned with original artwork. Those days are over. Under the guise of "environmental responsibility", most firms now send e-cards, claiming to be making a donation to some charity with the funds they otherwise would have invested in cards and postage.

I think this is pretty fucking lame. First, they all donate to charities anyway, so I don't believe they're donating any more because of the e-cards. Second, for me, getting an e-card is like having digital recordings. There's nothing to touch and feel. At least with a real card you know the person actually took the time to hold the card, sign it, maybe even add a personalized message. With an e-card, you have an IT group running an email merge and pressing a button for a mass mailout.

The e-cards themselves are pretty lame. A few examples.

I have loads more, but you get the idea. For anyone here who is a photographer/graphic designer/etc. would you not agree these are pretty fucking lame?
