Call me the bringer of bad news but i couldn't help posting. Original frontman for Boney M,Bobby Farrell had died in Russia aged 61. Boney M almost rivaled Abba in terms of popularity during the 70s especially in Europe,Asia and Africa. The Band still performs today with various new line ups. Bobby was part of the original four members from 1974-84.

I read that Frank Farian actually sang a lot of songs, and Bobby was just a frontman/singer...Frank is one sly producer [:D]

Worthy to note that both Bobby and Grigori Rasputin died on Dec 30 in St. Petersburg... Rasputin being one of their big hits.
