Hilarious. Guess I'm just a hipster doofus. The album was mediocre at best and the worst they have turned out in a couple efforts so no doubt prime Grammy material.(Total hipster comment) The real rip-off was Bieber. I'm sickened and appalled.

I can't believe Rosie would be so dumb as to question The Grammys. They can do no wrong. After all they're the only ones who ever gave Jethro Tull's Crest of a Knave the respect it deserved.





P.S. - I've always thought Arcade Fire sucked. And doesn't being an Indie band and winning a Grammy for album of the year kind of invalidate that band to their fanbase? Most of the kids I know who listen to the "Indie-rock" genre only do so because it's NOT well known and they're trying to be hipsters. But then again, what do I know, I like Roxette.

Awesome

In a way, I'm liking the folks who have no idea who Arcade Fire is more and more. They've accomplished a few things:

1. Realization that all the blogging in the world, healthy album sales and hyperventilating rock journalists can't make a dent in a nation ruled by Lady GaGa, the cast of Glee, Hip Hop and American Idol finalists.

2. Made Arcade Fire appear to be the bastion of hipster cred despite them having been around for years now, on a major label and close to being written off as "something we dug back in 2005" only last month.

3. Restored the natural order of things. Most people don't know who Arcade Fire is, prefer Jay Leno over Conan, watch the big 4 networks almost exclusively, think Sandra Bullock movies are great, and have never seen nor will ever see a "FunnyOrDie" video.
