Put simply--shut the Hell up and get back to work. Stop Boo Hooing that you have to contribute to your health plan--the rest of the country does it--why do teachers think they are so damn special? Do your damn jobs and teach.
And for the Democrats that fled from the state so they dont have to vote? Get real--you need to get kicked outta office. "Votes not going my way so I'm gonna hide!!" Pussies.
Part of the reason states are in financial jeopardy is state workers using and abusing the system. I know plenty here in RI and I am sure they are NO different elsewhere....

We are in a budget crisis here in Cali as you may know. The entitlements and fat pensions cannot be sustained. It may come down to one of two choices. Either work something out willingly to reduce costs and make it manageable or the state goes bankrupt and pensions become worthless.

Jerry Brown has openly admitted that his biggest regret from the FIRST time he became governor was allowing state employees to organize. Then there's this:

Although they pay a fee for the privilege and officials say it is high enough to cover the eventual payouts, critics of air time note that the boost can cost taxpayers millions when the state pension system's investment income falls short, as it has in recent years.[/i]
