Anyone looking forward to the series on HBO? The books were amazing and arent your typical fantasy series. Its best described as Rome/Braveheart meets Lords of the Ring.

It looks decent enough. It won't end up being one of HBO's best efforts but it should at least be entertaining.

The books are so long, rambling & filled with details it will be interesting to see what bits they choose to include in the series.
Ambitious, but I'll certainly give it a watch.

best episode so far. The Hound and the Mountain got to fight, the very creepy scene of Lysa breastfeeding her 10 year old son and Lannister eyegouging Jorah with his dagger

I have HBO but I don't watch this show, it looks boring...
but SNL just did a funny skit about that show constantly having nude women and sex....

Nod - G.O.T. and also The Walking Dead would be my 2 fave tv shows (as far as drama/action goes) for.. hmmm many many many years..... if not forever.
