After the height of Gary Glitter's popularity was over would you say that his music style changed more, and that he was more New Wave at the time,or was he still more Glam? Let's put it this way,I see alot of New Wave and Punk,in later Gary Glitter's music than I see Glam.Anyway,Adam Ant was very influenced by Gary Glitter's music and that was the Glam side of Gary Glitter.I can still see the New Wave and Punk influences coming out of Gary Glitter, moreso in the 80's.

His Glam side I still think was influenced by both Punk and New Wave, and that it was always there, but he just didn't let it come out until the 80's period. His hit song Dance Me Up from the 80's had more of a New Wave feel to it,than it did Glam. And Wikipedia lists Gary Glitter's 80's period genre as New Wave and at the same time as Glam, and also as Post Punk too,so go figure.

Nah I think you got him confused with Michelle (Michael Jackson.Plus that would make him the wrong skin and color, but with Michelle you never knew what color or skin you were getting. One minute he(she was black the next minute she was white and then a combination of both. The only thing they had in common was they were both into children big time.
