Seeing Kid Canaveral live triggered something. I can't see how it didn't strike me more before, but their album really is a pretty remarkable bit of pop craft. If I had to do this over again, they would be a top 5 for sure. Damn, this thing is easily 4-5 singles deep.

how about next year you just wait for my list and then copy it. Boom. Best top 20 of they year. (Ok, I listened to the Joy Formidable disc again today, it has grown on me considerably)
