Listenting now to their disc from 2007. Much more indie/alternative and a little mellower than their live show. Still, these guys are really good -- a couple of tunes in the early/mid-era Devo range; some definite Talking Heads influence. This would make a good back-to-back listen with the Vampire Weekend disc that came out earlier this year.
Their live show is definitely worth checking out though. If I'd heard this disc first before seeing them, I'd have been completely surprised with the live show. Very good stuff. Worth picking up.

I saw them live with Ladytron and they were outrageous. Not the best music though, but highly entertaining live.

Yeah I saw Data Rock open 4 Ladytron here @ the Filmore in SF back in may thay also played Download fest in July... Great stuff..
