Oracular Spectacular. Without a doubt my favorite album of this year.

It's weird that they're being discussed just now. Their album has been available on import and digital since October of 2007. In that time, I have to say that they just havn't stuck with me. It was initially grabbing because they are indeed different and offer a good mix of electro/indie sound, but there's just not enough good catchy songs for my taste. They're a bit like Scissor Sisters in that way - a good passing fancy but that's it. Still, kudos to these Wesleyan University products - we have precious little good coming out of the Nutmeg state.

Loved the whole record, it's actually one of my favorites this year. I was a bit disappointed when I saw them live at Sziget in Budapest, especially while their were performing "Time To Pretend" you could not clearly hear the vocals, anyway the Atmosphere was great!
