A band I've been following for the last few years. Just never managed to catch one of their live shows, which I've been repeatedly told are epic by their cult following. Perhaps all too-obviously sprinkled with some British Sea Power and Arcade Fire. [:I] Still, I'm hopeful for some forthcoming US gigs - maybe even SXSW. New album out today, Drown Your Heart Again.

I like the driving guitar melodies, plus any band with a chick playing guitar is automatically cool. As for the video, when did the Partridge Family make Danny Bonaduce their lead singer? Oh how I miss Keith.

I like it, but for some reason - maybe the singer's voice - it reminds me of popular Midnight Oil songs like Beds Are Burning or Blue Sky Mine.

The voice is definitely one thing that prevents me from fully warming to them.

Are you sure it's the voice and not the hair?

He sounds a bit like Larry Bangor from Human Sexual Response. Maybe not so much his voice, but how he sings.
