Discussions about the new generations of bands influenced by '80s New Wave and Postpunk

does it fit the criteria?

Postby KingdomOfF » Thu Mar 12, 2015 3:13 pm

Hi there
This is my first post, and it so happens to be a promotional one as well, but no need to fear, I'll give a brief introduction about myself
-Been producing music for 5 years under different names
-obsessed with Joy Division aged 9-about 13ish - started playing guitar - Then formed a band at 11 - disbanded.
-took a larger interest toward 80s new wave from 14 onwards although I was already a fan of Duran Duran and Tears For Fears from the age of 8
-had a larger obsession with Depeche Mode from 15 onwards - Formed this second band who are also looking in the same direction as me.

You guys will inevitably get to know me more, that's just a small sample about me.
but this is my band, heavily influenced by New Wave I may even dare to push it a step further and call it New Wave

all feedback is wanted, does it fit the criteria?
Thanks :D

*May I also add that we're just sick of fake meaningless music where the lyrics are meaningless and have no correlation to our own lives,
