I always depend on visiting posts from you guys for new music suggestions as you are the best and most insightful resource. I am not that person. I loved the New Wave and some decades of music after that but have sadly given up on spike hair gel and turned into a streaming shuffle song listener. Don't be hating. Anyways, I look forward to hopefully peeking :o in on your musical collections to enrich my mediocre at best song playlists. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! John :D

Great list! I've spotted some of these on other Top50 pick lists for 2015 and have enjoyed some already. Parralox is a must, always. I like the new ORB as well. Sufjan Stevens "Carrie & Lowell" is getting a lot of notice. A lot of the music on the top lists are very "beardy" introspective droning tunes which can be soothing for a hangover but annoyingly simplistic at other times. Subjective tastes are what create variety I suppose. Thanks for your trick or treat list of goodies. Hope to find something inspiring. Happy New Year! John

Hey all. I'm listening to everyone's lists. So cool. Really enjoying some new sounds. I have been organizing a Spotify list of everyone's suggestions. If you've picked a specific band and song, I included it. If the band isn't available, well, then it's not there. If you list the band and album, I try to pick the title song or something that jumps out. If you want to follow along as I populate it with everyones songs, it's a great way to put our tunes on shuffle and enjoy. Hope everyone agrees this is okay. If you have suggestions or want to modify anything, LMK. Thanks. John Here's the Spotify link for you to click FOLLOW: https://open.spotify.com/user/jlcaste11 ... vKEUwWS9mO
