So, I heard this great song on the PA system between sets at EndFest today. Starts off with a funky beat and high-pitched guitar riff, very reminiscent of Franz Ferdinand's "Tell Her Tonight." The refrain is something like "play it on the radio" (possibly "riot on the radio").

Can anyone ID? Thanks.

Oh duh, I tried a different phrase on google and got it right away. It's the Dead 60s' "Riot on the Radio." Much more ska than I remembered.

It could also have been Pitty Sing's "Radio"

So, for the first time in a long while I went to an actual record store to buy this CD by the Dead 60s. (Not on iTunes and I didn't want to wait for amazon.com.)

If anyone is thinking about buying this $(%#ing CD, it is wrapped up tight in some evil

I can understand why they would want to thwart illegal copying (cuz I NEVER do that, OK, less than most people), but I should add that at least now I was trying to make a LEGAL copy for personal use, first in my hard drive with their stupid software, then
