Hello NWO, Hope everyone is safe & well!

Please read as links will only be up for one week or less if asked to remove!

It gives me great pleasure this week to share an exclusive track "Alistair - In Berlin'' from my good friend and co-worker Alistair Macfarlane who recorded this in 1981 at the young age of 16 while living and playing in the UK.

Long story short, Alistair has had a lengthy recording career but up until now he has never shared any of his early recordings/tapes that were recently discovered by his dad who still lives in the UK. Lucky for us, Alistair has kindly given me the green light to share them here with you for the first time in over 40 years! His musical influences early on will be very evident once listened to. Thank you so much Al for allowing me to showcase these in the LBNF series!

Lastly, Alistair is still recording/playing music under the name Alba Burke and has recently released a new Limited Edition Double cd of New Future/Retro Wave, Synthpop material. Let's show him our support! See links below. Cheers

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9ds5B ... JIrHyGSdmg

I encourage you to give each track a listen at some point as you may be pleasantly surprised....

I have done my best to remaster all the tracks included here with the best sound possible! If I have used tracks that have appeared on others previous compilations, I apologize as this was not intentional!

Please note, this in NO way is intended to take away sales from any of the artists included here but rather a way to discover or rediscover these timeless masterpieces as many of them have never officially appeared on CD or are long "Out Of Print". Please support these bands if they should have material available! They deserve all the credit!

Thank you for all of your posts.
Your mixes are listened to every week,
since the late 90's.
Some of your mixes I'm more familiar with than the original cut.
You are bigger than Razormaid!

Two nice addition to your growing series.
Great to see Social Security and the GoGo Street track is really a treat. Can we expect the b-side of the sigle on a future volume?
Again, job well down Gaz.

Incredible Alistair is your co-worker and so cool we got to hear this amazing track. I will definitely have a listen to his newer material as well. Hope we get to hear more.
Agree with Rissan, Social Security is excellent and "Hearts On Time" is stuck in my brain.

Dance Trance is The One for my on this set.
Interestingly enough, the slowed down version is much much better than the regular "version" uploaded on the Vol.110.

I have tracked down two other projects from this duo and Escape From New York sounds great.
Noticable appearances from DC Lee & Jaki Graham on backing vocals on the second single.

Thanks for the support and for letting this music brighten your days! Fred, glad you enjoyed Alistair's track! I will pass that on to him and yes there will be a few more of his tracks coming up. Ris, thanks, I wasn't crazy about the B-side so I passed. I'll give it another listen. WLR, thanks again for providing the series artwork. Xymo, great research as always and I may have another track or two coming up!

See you all Friday
