And if you start sharing instead of requesting stuff? I guess someone would help you more quickly. Of your 66 posts more than 80% are requests

I asked for reuploads. That things already were posted before here, and no available by web. Almost all members shares by Wetransfer host, and the files keeps by 1 week only. And my time is short to be online. But in this case, I did refer to youtubers who shares great bands in their channels, but who have denied in sharing the ripped original file from original media (k7, CD or vinyl).

How does it make a difference if you or anyone else is requesting a reupload? It's still a request.

Your time is short online? Not preventing you from downloading though is it? Neil Kelly pulled this I don't have time nonsense. It was shit then and it's shit now. If you have time to download then you have time to upload also. No one is expecting hundreds but for fuck's sake it's not difficult to do a few. And by the way copied and pasted links are easy to spot.

I know someone who has the slowest internet connection but spent three days uploading three Blondie gigs which no one here will ever see. That is making an effort. What do you think he gets from me? Anything he wants is the answer.

Make some effort for fuck's sake. You're not really in a position to criticise anyone who uses wetransfer. It is the safest option when you have people like maccafan076 around who will copy and paste links to other places pretending they are theirs. No one is going to start linking to 50gb + mega's, google drives etc. Again why go to all that work only for your links to be shut down through over use when 99.9% of those who download go to zero effort themselves?

Reupload...upload...it's the same sh*t, man!
At least from me I will not share anything with you. My internet connection is slow and yet I share by pm. crichert, rissan, fred taghon, eddie, uvox, musfan... everyone takes their time to share stuff and you only complain about wetransfer.

And not even just a case of internet connection speed. All those who convert vinyl or cassettes on here are having to use electricity and pay for it and then share for free when it is costing them. I'm lucky because I can afford to do that but not everyone can. Converting can only be done in real time there is no quick fix. It's not like ripping a cd. Maybe we should all go down the guitars101 route of using affiliate links on filefactory, rapidgator, turbobit so that we get cash back or everyone else gets slow downloads. I think I have spent around ten hours this week converting things, add in some other uploads, the research into the bbc in concert series which is ongoing and it's basically like having a second job. And yet all I usually get is a shitload of abuse.

I did share some stuffs here. I don't mark only requests. I don't post very much things because I own few rarities I have purchased online. I'm starting in vinyl world, and I have only 2. But very much vinyls I want costs more than 500$. Why it's required this stupid price? An reissued new album in some label don't costs more than 30$. I'm sure the labels that time hadn't demanded a 3 digit price in dollar to a vinyl or CD.

Because that's the price they want to charge and it is up to them. I have an external hard drive which I wouldn't accept less than £2 million for (and to anyone who just laughed, that is not a joke, you have no idea what is on it). You shouldn't be requesting for things which could be bought, that is against the real rules of the site - the ones actually written by the owner.

Don't assume that youtubers all have the original wav or flac conversion either. A lot of youtubers are chancers who rip off others work or who only have the mp3 from some 15/20 year old, long dead site. usually they are trying to get enough subscribers to monetize their channel. I could go to a site now, post a bbc concert and guarantee you it would be on youtube within 6 hours. You seem to suggest that people with "rarities" are obligated to share them with everyone. Why? Some of those take a very long time, years, and great expense to source. It often includes being ripped off.

About Youtubers, various of them have downloaded from extinct blogs also, an decent rip (mp3 320kbps or 256kbps). Up to 2014 there were infinity of things being available in vinyl or k7 rip, it's no here solely. The blogs are dead and nobody reuploaded there, and new arisen blogs doesn't share like the old blogs. About Youtubers, why they refuses to send the original file from blogs, and post the songs in their Youtube channels only? To gain subscribed? This is disgusting. If the songs were available by web before in a good rip, it's wrong this behaviour. And by Soulseek, they requires trade to share the old files that were available by web for free. I was unlucky because I was not knowing those blogs before. If somebody ask for trade to share in Soulseek, the person should requesting to something of emselves, of their own vinyl, k7 or CD. And not to something was available by web before for free. This is against Soulseek rules for exemple. And here it happens the same.

You are still talking as if all the youtubers are members here - they probably are not. If people want to share only on youtube that is 100% their choice. If I am putting up real rarities I always ask that it is not uploaded to other sites, youtube, torrents, guitars101 or soulseek in particular. Although I agree one hundred percent with the idea behind soulseek of you can't get unless you give. The reason I don't like soulseek is because porn is on there alongside music with no age restriction and no means of checking exactly what is being shared. Why should someone have to give something of their own making on soulseek. You and all the rest don't want to give anything of anyone's making? I'm not talking about one or two uploads to ease the pressure I'm talking about consistent uploads which so many people do on here. Reupping things is a really good start if you are at entry level to uploading. It means that others can concentrate on seeking out or preparing new stuff rather than feeling obliged to respond to reup requests.

Do please go and check my posts for requests. And yet I upload stuff no one else has on a daily basis. Not that you will see it here (for obvious reasons). And I don't upload official material ever, anywhere, no matter how limited edition etc.
